Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against 10 individuals.
Felony
Larry Warner Hearn Jr., 33, of Weems was charged July 20 with selling, giving or distributing Alprazolam, a Schedule IV controlled substance and selling, giving or distributing cocaine, a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Misdemeanors
A Lancaster man, 24, was charged July 21 with failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor offense.
A Weems woman, 38, was charged July 23 with trespassing after being forbidden to do so.
A Lancaster man, 52, was charged July 23 with assault and battery of a family member.
A Lancaster man, 34, was charged July 23 with two counts of probation violations on felony offenses.
An Arlington man, 36, was charged July 24 with driving while intoxicated, BAC .15-20%.
A Lancaster woman, 55, was charged July 24 with assault and battery of a family member.
A Waynesboro man, 33, was charged July 25 with appearing intoxicated in public.
A Lancaster man, 68, was charged July 25 with brandishing a firearm in such a manner as to reasonably induce fear in the mind of another of being shot or injured.
A Lancaster man, 58, was charged July 25 with brandishing a firearm in such a manner as to reasonably induce fear in the mind of another of being shot or injured.

July 21: Staff responded to Mary Ball and Morattico roads for an abandoned vehicle, to the 100 block of Claybrook Avenue for a person with an altered mental status, to the 3700 block of Merry Point Road for a civil issue, to the 400 block of Greentown Road for stolen vehicle keys, to the 500 block of Lara Road for juveniles throwing rocks at passing vehicles, and to the 100 block of Gemini Road for a domestic disturbance.
July 22: Staff responded to the 500 block of Rappahannock Drive for a minor two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 300 block of Gaskins Road for a domestic assault involving alcohol, to Irvington and Weems roads for a suspicious person, to the 100 block of Peake Road for the report of a disorderly person, to the 400 block of Greentown Road for a trespasser, and to the 9200 block of River Road for a trespasser.
July 23: Staff responded to the 100 block of Clark Road for a person with an altered mental status, to Roseneath Avenue and South Main Street to assist KPD with a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 100 block of Harris Road for a person with an altered mental status, to the 100 block of Levering Lane for a trespasser, to the 500 block of Hoecake Road for possible child abuse, to the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive for a large crowd that refused to leave after being asked to do so, and to the 100 block of First Street for a domestic assault.
July 24: Staff responded to Ocran Road and Turner Lane for a party where juveniles were being allowed to consume alcohol, to the 100 block of Turner Lane for gunshots in the early morning hours, to the 3000 block of White Chapel Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 300 block of Twin Branch Road for a domestic assault involving a juvenile, to the 4000 block of Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, to Towles Point Road for a suspicious vehicle, to the 100 block of Crossroad to check the welfare of a resident, to the intersection of Fitchett Drive and Windmill Point Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash with serious injuries, to the 300 block of Lumberlost Trail for a noise violation from loud music, and to the 100 block of First Street for the violation of a protective order.
July 25: Staff responded to the 3300 block of Windmill Point Road for a suspicious vehicle occupied by a person who displayed a handgun, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for a disabled vehicle, to the 100 block of Windjammer Lane for disorderly conduct involving alcohol, to the Norris Bridge for the report of debris in the roadway causing a traffic hazard, to the 1400 block of Windmill Point Road for stolen real estate signs. to the 500 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for vandalism of a vehicle, to the 2100 block of Morattico Road for the report of a burglary, to the 100 block of First Street for the violation of a protective order, and to the 100 block of Pine Place for brandishing of a firearm.
Staff also conducted nine traffic stops, issued three summonses, assisted six motorists, recorded a deer strike accident, handled two calls for traffic control, investigated seven building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged five inmate transports, received 22 E911 hang-up calls and fielded a request for animal control service.
Fire calls
White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to an odor of propane on Beach Road, a traffic crash on Windmill Point Road, to wash down a crash scene on Windmill Point Road and with Kilmarnock VFD to a structure fire on Edinburgh Way.
Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a traffic crash on White Chapel Road and a grill fire on Swamp Lane.
