Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against five individuals.
Felony
Kisha Lynette Caster, 51, of Lancaster was charged September 9 with willfully and intentionally making a false statement on the consent form required for a firearms transaction.
Misdemeanors
A Weems man, 26, was charged September 8 with trespassing after being forbidden to do so, and damage to property valued at less than $1,000.
A Lancaster man, 38, was charged September 9 with contempt of court: failure to appear.
A Kilmarnock woman, 46, was charged September 9 with two counts of petit larceny.
A Virginia Beach woman, 59, was charged September 12 with resisting/obstructing arrest without threats or force, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

Sept. 6: Staff responded to the 500 block of North Main Street to assist Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) with suspicious activity, to the 8800 block of Mary Ball Road for a verbal dispute, and to the 500 block of Southport Lane to assist KPD with a domestic disturbance.
Sept. 7: Staff responded to the 8800 block of Mary Ball Road for threats made to harm another, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for construction materials in the roadway, to the 600 block of Rappahannock Drive for a domestic assault, to the 1400 block of Windmill Point Road for a burglary and grand larceny, to the 1800 block of Weems Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to Regina Road for a person shooting out of a vehicle toward houses, and to the 600 block of Rappahannock Drive for an assault.
Sept. 8: Staff responded to the 500 block of Rappahannock Drive to check the welfare of a resident, to the 100 block of School Street for suspicious activity, to the 8800 block of Mary Ball Road for threats made to harm another, to the 8200 block of Mary Ball Road for larceny, and to Rappahannock and Chesapeake drives to assist Virginia State Police with a wanted person.
Sept. 9: Staff responded to the 3200 block of Crawfords Corner Road for a wanted person, to a walk-in report of a forgery/uttering of a check, and to the 400 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for a burglary and grand larceny.
Sept. 10: Staff responded to the 500 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for a possible prowler, to the 500 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for vandalism of a vehicle, to Mary Ball and Pinckardsville roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 100 block of Harris Road for a person with an altered mental status, to the 400 block of Twin Branch Road for an assault with injuries, and to the 100 block of Grand Villa Drive to assist emergency medical services with a combative patient.
Sept. 11: Staff responded to Mary Ball Road and Simmons Lane for a person unresponsive in a vehicle, to Peirces and Morattico roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 100 block of Brook Lane for a trespasser, and to the 100 block of Capricorn Lane for a stolen vehicle.
Sept. 12: Staff responded to Crawfords Corner and Browns Store roads to assist Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office with a fight in progress involving the discharge of weapons, and to the 300 block of Meyers Drive for a person with an altered mental status and vandalism.
Staff also conducted 15 traffic stops, issued 11 summonses, assisted a motorist, handled nine calls for traffic control, investigated three building alarms, processed two mental health orders, logged three inmate transports, received 19 E911 hang-up calls and fielded seven requests for animal control service.
Fire calls
White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a possible vehicle fire on Mary Ball Road and a carbon monoxide alarm on Old Oak Trail.
Kilmarnock VFD and White Stone VFD responded to a fire/smoke alarm on Lumberlost Road, a traffic crash on Weems Road and a lift assistance request on Johns Neck Road.
Upper Lancaster VFD established a lift zone on Mary Ball Road and responded to a traffic crash on Mary Ball Road.
