Sheriff’s Report 12-31-25

Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp on December 19 reported charges against 13 individuals.

Felonies

Tylisha Chardae Crockett, 29, of Warsaw was charged December 5 on a direct indictment issued out of Mathews County for six counts of forgery and six counts of obtaining money by false pretenses. She was served by NCSO.

Curtis Weldon, 70, of Heathsville was charged December 7 with two felony warrants for obtaining monies through false pretense.

John Wayne Weaver, 37, of Callao was charged December 15 on a capias to show cause issued by the Westmoreland County Circuit Court for a violation hearing on original charges of aggravated sexual battery by force or injury and for failing to obey a court order. He was served by NCSO.

Jennie Lee Lansberry, 38, of Heathsville was charged December 17 with а capias to show issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for failing to appear in their court on felony charges. A capias also was issued from the same court to have her bond revoked on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and violating probation on a felony offense.

Misdemeanors

A Heathsville man, 54, was charged November 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

A Reedville man, 23, was charged December 4 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Lancaster County General District Court for failing to appear on an original charge of driving suspended. He was served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO).

A Reedville man, 65, was charged December 9 with assault and battery.

A Burgess woman, 30, was charged December 9 with shoplifting from the Kilmarnock Walmart. This was a Lancaster County warrant served by the NCSO.

A Reedville man, 31, was charged December 11 with reckless handling of a firearm and a second charge of brandishing a firearm.

A Reedville woman, 39, was charged December 12 with damaging property.

A Heathsville man, 25, was charged December 13 with damaging property.

A Burgess man, 36, was charged December 15 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the King William General District Court for failing to appear on driving suspended with two prior convictions. He was served by NCSO.

A Heathsville woman, 37, was charged December 16 with a summons for a hit and run, unattended.

Reminder, those charged with alleged crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
