Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported misdemeanor charges against six individuals.
A Hague man, 41, was charged September 13 with failure to report to jail for a weekend sentence.
A Lancaster woman, 30, was charged September 13 with contempt of court: failure to appear.
A White Stone woman, 22, was charged September 14 with petit larceny: stealing goods/funds valued at less than $1000.
A Warsaw woman, 48, was charged September 15 with petit larceny: stealing goods/funds valued at less than $1000.
A Lancaster man, 48, was charged September 16 with hit and run property damage valued at less than $1000.
A Lancaster man, 57, was charged September 16 with two counts of petit larceny, stealing goods/funds valued at less than $1000.
September 12: Staff responded to River and Morattico roads for a downed tree in the roadway, to the 11600 block of Mary Ball Road to check the welfare of a resident, to the 2200 block of Merry Point Road for a domestic assault, to Chases Avenue to assist Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) with a vehicle pursuit, to the 100 block of Sandlin Drive for a domestic disturbance, and to the 700 block of Regina Road for threats made to harm another.
September 13: Staff responded to the 500 block of Goodluck Road for a domestic assault, to the 400 block of James Wharf Road for a stolen Koolcnchet 2500cc dirt bike, to the 100 block of Sandlin Drive for power lines down in the roadway, to the 900 block of Johns Neck Road for money obtained by false pretense, and to the 100 block of Turner Lane for illegal narcotics activity.
September 14: Staff responded to James B. Jones Memorial Highway and Cox’s Farm Road for an abandoned vehicle partially in the roadway, to Christ Church Road for a tree limb down in the roadway, to Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver on a motorcycle, and to the 12200 block of Mary Ball Road for a wanted person.
September 15: Staff responded to the 100 block of Park Place for theft of two kayaks, to the 400 block of Mosquito Point Road for a wanted person, and to the 800 block of Nuttsville Road for a domestic disturbance.
September 16: Staff responded to the 300 block of Weems Road to assist emergency medical services with a person with an altered mental status, to the 100 block of School Street for a two-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 400 block of Glebe Road for shooting in the area.
September 17: Staff responded to the 100 block of Aries Drive for an abandoned vehicle, to the 100 block of Peake Road for a verbal dispute, to the 3600 block of Black Stump Road to check the welfare of a resident, to the 100 block of Buttercup Lane for suspicious activity.
September 18: Staff responded to the 800 block of Lumberlost Road for a verbal disagreement, to the 400 block of North Main Street to assist KPD with a trespasser, and to the 200 block of Flats Lane for a suicidal person.
Staff also conducted 22 traffic stops, issued 11 summonses, assisted two motorists, recorded two deer strike accidents, handled 10 calls for traffic control, investigated eight building alarms, processed two mental health order, logged two inmate transports and received 31 E911 hang up calls.
White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire/smoke alarm on River Bluff Road, power lines down on Sandlin Drive, and a brush/boat fire on Rappahannock Drive.
Kilmarnock VFD responded to an electrical fire on Old Fairgrounds Way, separate traffic crashes at Harris and Irvington roads and on School Street, and separate fire/smoke alarms on Ditchley Road, North Main Street and with Upper Lancaster VFD on Mary Ball Road.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against nine individuals.
Dalonta Trevon Henderson, 20, of Burgess was charged September 16 on a direct indictment issued by the Multi-jurisdictional Grand Jury for two counts of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless handling of a gun and malicious shooting at a vehicle.
Kevin Maurice Edwards Jr., 18, of Heathsville was charged September 17 on a direct indictment issued by the Multi-jurisdictional Grand Jury for two counts of malicious wounding.
A Kilmarnock man, 70, was charged September 13 with obtaining money by false pretenses.
A Farnham woman, 40, was charged September 13 with petit larceny.
A Callao man, 33, was charged September 14 with assault and battery of a family member.
A Callao man, 37, was charged September 14 with a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for failing to appear in their court.
A Heathsville woman, 47, was charged September 14 with animal cruelty.
A Callao man, 59, was charged September 15 with sexual battery.
An Irvington man, 26, was charged September 17 with driving under the influence, first offense and reckless driving.
