The Rappahannock Pistol & Rifle Club on April 28 conducted two bench-rest rifle matches at its facility near White Stone.
This competition employs precision rifles stabilized on a sturdy platform, requires 20 shots and has a maximum possible score of 200, reported Charlie Austin.
Tom Smith won the rim-fire match with a score of 200. Barry Smith placed, 199; and Joe Urban, third, 190.
Bob Morgan won the center-fire match with a score of 198. Mark Tures placed second, 197; and Evan Antonio, third, 189.
