SONNY String Quartet warms up concert crowd

The four most advanced students of the String Orchestra for Northern Neck Youth (SONNY) now play in a string quartet.

On Saturday, March 7, they performed as the audience gathered for the Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) concert in Kilmarnock. Selections included Bach’s “Chorale in G,” Vivaldi’s “Allegro in D,” Holst’s “Jupiter” and Shaker Hymn “Simple Gifts.”
