The Red Devils were no match for St. John Paul the Great. The Catholic school from Dumfries defeated Lancaster, 63-20, in varsity football last Friday night courtesy of four blocked punts and a 35-point second-half effort.
The Wolves outgained the Devils 422 total yards to 229 with an impressive 301 coming on the ground. St. John threw for 121 yards, Lancaster for 27.
The visitors took an early 14-0 lead off passes of 6 and 27 yards in the first quarter before Chris Dameron put Lancaster on the board with the first of his three rushing touchdowns on the night…
