St. Mary’s Whitechapel Episcopal Church recently awarded $24,600 in educational grants for Lancaster County students.
Flementine Pierce Scholarships were awarded to Olivia Brocklebank, Madison Giese, Grace Oren, Kayla Oren, Blair Smith, Amanda Steensma and Katherine Thomas, reported educational grants committee chairman Will Towles..
Other Lancaster County seniors awarded scholarships were Andrew Apple, Ashaunti Ball, Marshall Lee, Jessica Medlin, Katelin Sever, Daniel Smith and Abigail Sounders, said Towles.
Lancaster graduates who are college students were also awarded scholarships, he said. They are Roman Cutler, Thomarrow Hardy, Abrianna Lowery, Zoe Nonnemacker and Rachel Woolard.
The educational grants committee members are proud of the accomplishments of all of the applicants, said Towles.
