Parishioners at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Heathsville, sponsored 10 of the 30 children in the Northumberland Family YMCA’s Bright Beginnings program.
“St. Stephen’s is passionate about supporting our local community and we are pleased to continue its tradition of contributing to the Bright Beginnings program as part of our outreach ministry,” said the Rev. Pilar Parnell, priest-in-charge.
The Bright Beginnings program identifies children grades K-5 who are in need and equips them with the resources to ensure they have clothing, shoes and school supplies to start their school year….
