The Lancaster High School Class of 1962 held its 60th reunion at the Morattico Waterfront Museum pavilion on Sunday, August 14. Eighteen classmates attended as well as spouses and special guest Carroll Lee Ashburn, a high school coach for girls’ basketball and softball teams.
Opening remarks were made by class president Norman Tadlock. Special thanks were extended to members of the Reunion Planning Committee for their commitment to the success of the event. Members were Shirley Brent Davis, Carole Trent Fletcher, Carolyn Blake Franklin, Pat Lawson Kyzer, Charlie Lee, Kay Walters Shelton, Jean Barrack Simmons, Barbara Henderson Slack, Anita Conner Tadlock and N. Tadlock.
He encouraged attendees to stop by the Memorial Table to pause and reflect on the 14 deceased classmates….
