Steamboat Era Museum to reopen with new exhibits

IRVINGTON—The Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington, will open for the 2025 season at 10 a.m. March 28, featuring two new exhibits, “Painting the Steamboat Era” and “Life on the Old Bay Line.” Fees will be waived on opening day.

“Painting the Steamboat Era” showcases captivating portraits of these hardworking yet elegant vessels, reported museum manager Candee Pevahouse.
