LANCASTER––Stephen Wayne “Steve” Dennis, 81, of Lancaster went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
He is survived by his loving partner, Susie Berry; his daughter, Michelle McKeever and her husband, Bill; his daughter, Nicole Jenkins and her husband, Jeff; and his son, Stevie Dennis; four grandchildren, Kelly and Casey McKeever and Ryleigh and Blake Jenkins.
Steve spent decades in the steel industry owning several companies, retiring from his last company, Classic Steel, in 2023. Examples of his work, from bridges to handrails, can be seen all over the country.
Services, with a period of visitation an hour prior, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, at Pamunkey Indian Baptist Church, 1398 Spring Creek Road, King William. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A celebration of life will be held following interment at the Community Center at the Reservation Museum. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Pamunkey Indian Baptist Church.
