Introduction to Beekeeping will be offered from 10 a.m.-noon, April 13.
Bees are an important part of the ecosystem. From fruits to vegetables, coffee to tea, bees are essential for crops to be able to thrive.
The event will include a free lecture and demonstration from the Northern Neck Beekeepers Association, reported marketing coordinator Erin Bacon.
Visitors will learn how to begin the hobby of beekeeping and the importance of bees to the Northern Neck.
