On July 22, the Stripers Masters Swim Team gathered to bid a sad farewell to their dedicated and much-appreciated coach, Craig Bauer.
Bauer has been coaching the team for the past five years after miraculously showing up just as Kathryn Gregory, the founder of the team, was departing to warmer climes. The team was extremely fortunate that such a talented and experienced coach had landed in the area—one who was not only willing, but eager, to step in as the new coach.
