The Four Freshmen will open the Rappahannock Concert Association’s 36th season on Saturday, October 13.
The series will continue with the Washington Saxophone Quartet on November 17, a tribute to Duke Ellington on March 16, the clarinet and piano duo of Shtrykov and Tanaka on April 20, and The Capital Focus Jazz Band on May 18, reported publicity chairman Nellie Landrum.
All the concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Theater at the Northumberland County School, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville.
Subscriptions are $125 for a reserved seat, $100 for general seating, and $60 to attend three of the five concerts. Single adult concert tickets are $25. Students are admitted free.
