Sullivan, Crowther tally firsts in King Carter Cup

Colby Sullivan was the low gross winner and David Crowther the low net winner at last weekend’s King Carter Cup at the King Carter Golf Course in Kilmarnock.

The King Carter Cup was an individual stroke play tournament held July 21, reported Chip Sullivan, PGA, head professional. It was open to both members and non-members.

Sullivan had a low gross score of 75 and Crowther a low net of 68.

Sullivan was the winner in the white tee gross division with a 75 and Jeff Yarborough was second with an 80.

Jeff Versand was the winner in the white tee net division with a 69 and Jeff Haydon was second with a 71.

In the senior tee net division, Crowther was first with a 68, following a scorecard play-off. Klaus Schaschek was second with a 68 and Ron Carey third with 69.
