Caring for the heart is a matter of paramount importance. With Valentine’s Day approaching, Sundays at Two will host cardio-electrophysiologist Kenneth Ellenbogen, MD, on February 11 at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock. He will present “Cardiac Care in the 21st Century.”
Dr. Ellenbogen is the director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia, said library director Alice Cooper.
Dr. Ellenbogen’s academic, clinical and research includes an interest in newer and more effective ways in treating heart ailments with a focus on congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and the use of pacemakers, said Cooper.
