At the next Sundays at Two lecture, Dr. Allener Baker-Rogers will present “Where Were Your Ancestors in 1776? A Black Woman’s Perspective.” The program will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

Baker-Rogers, a native of Philadelphia, completed her master’s and doctorate in education at the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University, respectively. She is a retired university administrator and assistant professor of higher education leadership and research. She is co-author of They Carried Us: The Social Impact of Philadelphia’s Black Women Leaders.
