Sundays at Two to feature a look at research vessels

Stewart Lamerdin will present “The R/V Virginia: A Nod to the Past—An Eye to the Future.” The talk will focus on research vessels including the R/V Virginia (above).

The Lancaster Community Library Sundays at Two series will continue February 23 with Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) marine operations director Stewart Lamerdin. He will present “The R/V Virginia: A Nod to the Past—An Eye to the Future.”

The presentation will begin at 2 p.m. at the library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock. Coffee and cookies will be served following the program.
