In keeping with a local flavor theme, the Lancaster Community Library (LCL) 2023 Sundays at Two series will conclude March 18 with a presentation from Julien Patterson. The program will begin at 2 p.m. at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Patterson will discuss his extensive community involvement in and entrepreneurial perspective of the Northern Neck, said library director Alice Cooper. Bringing over 40 years of business management experience, he has served on the boards of Blue Ridge Bank and Northern Neck Insurance for almost 20 years.
Patterson is a founding director for the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck and owns a variety of small businesses in the area that have revenues in excess of $7 million annually.
Just months after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully opened the COMPASS Entertainment Complex in September 2020, creating jobs and stimulating economic development. Other community involvement has included….
