The 30th season of Sundays at Two, a lecture series sponsored by the Lancaster Community Library, will offer a range of topics from medicine, to oystering and wildlife rescue. All sessions are free, open to the public and held in the upstairs meeting room at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Al Ross will open the series at 2 p.m. January 11 with Fanning the Flames: Wildland Fire and Climate Change, reported library director Alice Cooper. A veteran of aerial firefighting and industry, Ross will explain how aerial fire fighters change fire behavior. He will relate the changing public perceptions and government policies in an era of climate change.
On February 1, Dr. James Melisi will present Life Is Short: Eat Dessert: Reflections on a Career as a Neurosurgeon. A 30-year career in neurosurgery has provided….
