Supervisors need more time to consider zoning exception for wood chipping facility

LANCASTER—Lancaster supervisors on Thursday, February 26, voted 5-0 to table a decision on a special exception request from Malcolm and Anna Ransone to operate a stump/brush/scrap wood burning and chipping facility on an agriculture parcel near White Pine Drive and Irvington Road.

Making the motion, supervisor Bill Lee said in light of comments made during the hearing and a similar complaint about a Pinckardsville Road property made during public comment, the board needed to take the time to consider the matter.
