Marion Mitchell, wearing a crown and sash, slices into a cake to celebrate her 99th birthday. Members of Northern Neck Family YMCA Young Energetic Seniors fitness class surprised the unsuspecting Mitchell with a party after their December 18 session. The event, organized by YMCA instructors Traci Ford and Rob Goralewicz, featured homemade hors d’oeuvres by classmates and a cake by Ford.
