The Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck will hold a mahjong and bridge fundraiser from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. May 16 at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.
“There are still a few tables available for the event,” said Muff Hughes, one of the organizers. “We’ve got a great lunch planned and tables of four are $160 each.”
“I’ve been putting aside vintage tablecloths that have been donated and we’ve got a really fun collection to use,” said Mariann Disney. “I guess no one uses them anymore which is a shame, they’re so unique.”
Disney is in charge of the linen department at the AWL Thrift Store., 75 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.
