Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 3 Monument Place, Heathsville, will serve a take-out barbecue dinner from 4-6 p.m. February 28.
Tavern barbecue master Sid Mace will make “his famous lip-smacking pulled pork, BBQ sauce and ‘Jack Daniels’ baked beans,” said executive director Corinne Anthony Becker. The meal also comes with Tavern-made potato salad and coleslaw, a bun and brownies for dessert.
