Taking ownership

Steve Byram of Irvington recently proved that it only takes one ticket to be a winner. Byram and his wife both purchased a ticket for the grand prize at the 88th Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) Firemen’s Festival and he was the big winner. From left, festival president Cody Smith on Tuesday, August 22, presents Byram the keys to the grand prize—a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4. The festival was held July 27 through August 5 at the KVFD Carnival Grounds, 200 Waverly Avenue, Kilmarnock.
