The eighth Taste by the Bay: Wine, Food, Arts and Ale, will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, November 20, at the Tides Inn, Irvington.
Hosted by the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce, this showcase of local offerings was canceled in 2020 so organizers are excited to bring it back, said event chairman Joanna Marchetti. They fully expect to sell out this event since tickets are limited.
“Come kick off the holiday season with samplings from Virginia wineries, Virginia craft brews and ciders, tastings from several area restaurants, live music by Faron Hamblin and music by Soul Grind performing a Tom Petty Tribute, from noon-3 p.m. and 2-5 p.m., respectively, plus a variety of vendors,” said Marchetti.
The wineries and restaurants will offer tastes of their products, with the option to purchase any of your favorite items.
