Tavern Woodworkers Guild holds raffle to benefit building fund

The Tavern Woodworkers Guild at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern (RHHT), 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will hold a raffle to benefit its building fund.

Prizes include a kitchen knife holder, a pizza peel and cutter and an ice cream scoop and bottle opener. All prizes were made by members of the guild, reported RHHT director Corinne Becker.

Tickets cost $10 each or three for $20, and will be available at the Heathsville Farmers Market June 21 and July 19. Tickets also are available at the Heritage Arts Center Gift Shoppe at RHHT. The guild is raising funds for the construction of a new woodshop on the….
