LANCASTER—Terry K. Haydon, 79, of Lancaster passed away January 6, 2022. He was a waterman for over 50 years and was the former owner of D T Callis Seafood, LLC.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Phares Haydon; daughter, Penny Haydon Davenport; son, KC Haydon (Michelle); grandchildren, Laurel Davenport Dillistin (Brandon), Haydon Davenport, Riley Haydon, Jack Luck, Ryan Luck, Hazel Phares, Ruby Phares and Atlas Phares; great-grandson, Braydon Dillistin; brother, Capt. Meredith Haydon (Donna); and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Dorothy Haydon; and his first wife, Diane Callis Haydon.
Terry loved to sing and especially enjoyed being a part of the local community choirs. He also played the piano and was a very good cook.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 13, at Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery, Ottoman.
