For many years, the community has been invited to ring in the Christmas season with The Holly & The Ivy, a caroling event inside Historic Christ Church in Weems. The last concert held in 2019 drew over 300 attendees.
After considering several options, the Foundation for Historic Christ Church chose to cancel this popular event for 2021 rather than put limitations on the number of attendees due to public health concerns, reported Paula D. Stallard, assistant director for administration.
In the spirit of The Holly & The Ivy, however, Historic Christ Church & Museum will again serve as a drop off site for non-perishable food….
