There are a lot of changes coming to The Office Cafe in Irvington — including a new name.
The restaurant at 4346 Irvington Road has temporarily closed to make way for renovation crews. When it reopens in early March, the restaurant will be called The Office Bistro, which is a reflection of its new look and direction.
Meanwhile, employees will continue to be paid, in exchange for volunteering to serve the community.
Owners Terri Wesselman and Julien Patterson and executive chef Michael Knapik say many of the updates are the direct result of feedback from their patrons over the past several months.
“We’re always listening to our customers and we think these renovations will be very appealing to our loyal guests and visitors to the region,” said Knapik. “The Office has always enjoyed a great lunch crowd, but these upgrades will offer our community additional opportunities for after-work entertainment and evening dining in a fun, snappy-casual atmosphere.”
