The Westmoreland Players will present ‘Tilt the Unlit Candle’

The Westmoreland Players Theatre recently announced something brand new for Christmas—the Virginia premiere of  “Tilt the Unlit Candle,” a quirky grown-up holiday comedy by Ben Clawson, directed by Michelle Ayala and Dan Beckhard.

“Tilt the Unlit Candle,” will open November 17 with a gala beginning at 6:30 p.m at the Westmoreland Players Theatre, 16217 Richmond Road, Callao. Tickets are by season subscription, or $40 for adults and $27 for students. 

Performances will continue at 7:30 p.m. November 18, 24, 25, and December 1; and 3 p.m. November 19, 26, and December 2, 3. Tickets for remaining shows are by season subscriptions, or $30 for adults and $17 for students.

“Tilt the Unlit Candle” takes place in a setting that may feel familiar to many theatre-goers in the Northern Neck—a small church with an aging congregation in a small town….
