The Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation (LCVEF) recently honored 34 Lancaster High School (LHS) students for their academic achievements.

Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors gathered at Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury (RWC) for the annual Celebration of Excellence Dinner to celebrate their accomplishments, reported Margaret Socey. They were recognized by LCVEF and the Lancaster County Public School community and presented certificates and a gift following a dinner in their honor. Students were selected based on their grade point averages—top five for the freshmen, sophomore and junior classes and top 10 in the senior class. In addition, two students were nominated by LHS staff for each grade level….
