Tour George Washington’s homes

The Mary Ball Washington Museum & Library (MBWML) recently announced registration has opened for an upcoming bus trip to Mount Vernon and Ferry Farm, the adult and boyhood homes of President George Washington.

The group tour August 24 is open to the public and limited to 50 participants by advance payment. The fee is $110 per person, or $95 for MBWML members and covers all costs for the day including tour admissions, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, motorcoach transportation and gratuities.

The tour will leave Lively at 8 a.m. and return about 7 p.m.
