Town of Kilmarnock thanks volunteer fire departments responding to April 19 fire

KILMARNOCK—On Friday, April 29, Mayor Mae Umphlett presented a donation check to each of the four volunteer fire departments responding to the devastating fire April 19 on Irvington Road.

The Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department, White Stone Volunteer Fire Department, Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department and Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department responded.

“We thank those men and women so much for their service, and these donations are just a small token of our appreciation and gratitude for their hard work and commitment,” said Mayor Umphlett.
