The Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department (ULVFD) will hold its Spring Mud Bog Saturday, May 11, at the Lively Firehouse, 5170 Mary Ball Road, Lively. Gates will open at 10 a.m. Competition will be held from noon to sunset.
Admission is $20 per person. Children 10 and younger will be admitted free with a paying adult. There will be limited trackside parking available for $25 per spot. Trackside spots may be reserved in advance by calling 761-6248, 436-5856 or 436-2276. All reserved spots must be claimed by 11:45 a.m.
Mudding is open to anyone who dares, reported assistant secretary Jimmy Coates. All participants run at their own risk. There is a fee of $10 for one run, or $20 for unlimited all day mudding….
