This holiday season the Kilmarnock branch of Union Bank & Trust is giving back to the community. Through December 23, Union will accept donations to the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck, Animal Welfare League and The Haven.

Featured in the Kilmarnock branch are three Christmas trees, one for each organization, each decorated with tags that list a single “wish list” item, said branch manager Carrie Barrack. The community is asked to participate by coming into the branch at 284 North Main Street and selecting items for an organization and returning them to the corresponding Christmas tree.

“We really felt the need to give back to the local organizations that give us so much through the year.  It’s the least we can do to say ‘thank you’,” said Barrack.

To participate, visit the bank, or call 435-2682.
