WHITE STONE—Vikki “Victoria” Gillespie Canada Hottle passed away in peace on February 9, 2026, at age 75, comforted by the loving care of her daughter, Shannon Canada Watts, and the coveted companionship of her husband, Roy Hottle. Her family and friends would concur, with love and confidence, that Heaven got a little more fun and a little more classy on that day.
Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Polly Gillespie; and survived by her husband of 18 years, Roy Hottle; her daughter, Shannon Canada Watts (Bob); her sisters, Barbara Loth (John) and Suzanne Gillespie; and a host of cherished nephews and nieces.
Vikki was born in White Stone on November 17, 1950. A graduate of Lancaster High School, Vikki married Garland Clifton Canada Jr. After their transition to Richmond, Vikki celebrated a successful, rewarding and longstanding career in the insurance industry with Allstate, Life of Virginia and Genworth.
Vikki embraced the multitude of lives she touched, while sharing her talents and passion for decorating, entertaining and rescuing pets in need. She was driven and guided by her sentimental spirit and her thoughtful and caring ways.
Vikki is already missed as a wife, mother, co-worker, friend, pet-lover and so much more. Godspeed Vikki Gillespie Canada Hottle from all of your family and friends . . . and in your own special words, “Luf Luf” from all of us to you.
In lieu of flowers, cards and a service, the family humbly asks that you share your love and spirit with those who surround you and help those is need . . . just as Vikki would.
