Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M), 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, will welcome visitors of all ages to VA250 History Day from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. June 27.
This free community event will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the nation’s independence with immersive exhibitions, living history, children’s activities, local history booths, food trucks and tours of one of Virginia’s most remarkable colonial landmarks.
The one-day event invites guests to step into Virginia’s Revolutionary-era story through a variety of hands-on experiences. Costumed interpreters, special exhibitions and family-friendly programs will bring history to life throughout the day.
