Verville history authors schedule lecture

Local history authors Lois Crane Williams and Ammon G. Dunton Jr. will present “Colonel James Gordon and Verville: A Colonial Lancaster Gentleman and his Home” at 10 a.m. July 27 at the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS), 8346 Mary Ball Road.

Following the talk, they will sign copies of their book Tobacco Trader on the Corotoman, reported executive director Karen Hart.

The LVHS Museum will be open….
