HENRICO—Violet Haynie Bowles, 95, of Henrico, formerly of Glebe Point, passed away on April 29, 2020. She was born January 11, 1925 at Sampson’s Wharf.
She was a retired executive housekeeper.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Exley (John) and Gayle Meador (Larry); four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Warren Bowles; her mother and father, Hilda McAllister Hinton and Dewey Haynie; and brother, James D. Haynie.
Interment will be at Mooreland Cemetery, Sampson’s Wharf. Services will be private.
