Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry on Saturday, June 29, will present music by some of the best duos and groups in the business at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium, Mathews High School, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Doors will open at 7 p.m., the show will start at 7:30 p.m.
The show will feature Shades of Country with Richard Smith on drums, William Earl Sadler on keyboards, Sam Hogge Jr. on lead guitar, David Shuber on bass guitar, Mike McDevitt on rhythm/lead guitar and Michael Gregg on fiddle, as well as the Opry singers, Lynda Smith, Susan Ripley, Tracy Hill, LeighAnn Abbott, Shane Norris and Ralph Motley. Special guests will include Hunter Owens and newcomer and recent winner of the Mathews High School Talent Show, Hailey Denkinger.
