Walk slated July 10 at birding ‘hot spot’

The Northern Neck Audubon Society will conduct a bird walk July 10 at Windmill Point. Jeff Wright will lead the walk.

Windmill Point, the Eastern most part of Lancaster County, juts into the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Rappahannock River. It is listed as a birding hotspot on e-Bird which makes it a good location to see a variety of bird species, reported publicity chairman Maggie Gerdts.
