Interim head of school Dawn Fleet recently announced Ware Academy’s new staff members.
Brian Risley is the new Upper School math teacher and fifth grade homeroom teacher. Risley earned a bachelor’s in elementary education and a master’s in education with a specialty in mathematics from Queens College, plus an additional 31 credits in mathematics from City University of New York.
He has over 22 years of experience in mathematics instruction and most recently served Essex County Public Schools as a math instructional specialist, said Fleet.
