Ware Academy recently announced the addition of six new staff members.
Haley Beatley will serve as athletic director and physical education teacher. Beatley earned her bachelor’s with a concentration in movement education from Radford University.
Her educational background as well as her extensive experiences as a performer and choreographer will allow her to conduct research-based instruction in both physical education and dance, reported director of enrollment and academic dean Dawn Fleet.
Crystal Tucker-Oberlin joins Ware Academy as a music teacher. Tucker-Oberlin graduated from Longwood University with a bachelor’s in music and music education.
Her expertise in music instruction as well as choral direction will make her an asset to the fine arts program, said Fleet.
Marta Frechette has a bachelor’s from the University of Panama. She has taught all age levels and has specialized in Spanish instruction up to Spanish IV.
Frechette’s many years of experience will continue to strengthen Ware Academy’s Spanish program, said Fleet.
John Dixon will be instrumental in the development of upper school students’ mathematical knowledge. Dixon has 19 years of teaching experience in both the public and private sector…
