WARSAW—On Wednesday, October 30, at approximately 5:21 p.m., the Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a two-vehicle crash with a confirmed fatality at Newland Road, .3 mile south of Sandy Lane.
The trooper’s preliminary investigation reveals that a 2004 Honda Civic driven by Jacob C. Bruzgul, 19, of Glen Allen was traveling southbound on Newland Road when he crossed the center line striking a 2002 Toyota Echo traveling northbound head on, reported VSP Division One public information officer Sgt. Keeli L. Hill. The driver of the Toyota was identified as Kenneth W. Seager, 48, of Warsaw.
Bruzgul and an adult front seat passenger were wearing their seat belts. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Seager was not wearing his seat belt. Unfortunately, Seager succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene, said Sgt. Hill.
