Waterfowl Show to celebrate 40th anniversary

This painting of a pintail will be part of Karla Mann’s exhibit at the Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show. Mann will donate a painting for the Preview Night Gala door prize. Celebrating its 40th anniversary on March 16 and 17, the Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show is dedicated to wildfowl art in its many forms. The show will be held at the White Stone firehouse, 579 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.

Original paintings, decorative carvings, gunning style decoys, folk art style carvings, prints, photography and bronze sculptures are the many forms with songbirds, shorebirds, birds of prey, ducks and geese the subjects, reported organizer Pat Bruce.
