KILMARNOCK—The Town of Kilmarnock recently installed new signs to welcome residents, help greet visitors, contribute to community pride, enhance Kilmarnock’s brand and spotlight the Steptoe’s District.
Four new “Welcome to Kilmarnock” signs have been placed at the town limits.
“Welcome signs enhance the borders of our beautiful and vibrant community. They encourage travelers to slow down and stop, help our community stand out, and are the first thing residents and visitors see. They also improve brand awareness, which helps people remember us and hopefully return,” said Mayor Shawn Donahue.
Installation of another four new signs welcome visitors and shoppers to the historic Steptoe’s District. They were completed a few weeks ago.
Kilmarnock is known as the economic hub of the lower Northern Neck and has become a destination for shoppers and travelers. Main Street offers boutique shopping, eateries…..
