WHITE STONE—The White Stone Town Council on Thursday, April 4, got a first look at the town’s proposed $250,380 fiscal year 2024-25 budget.
Town manager Patrick Frere presented a rough draft of the revenue portion of the budget after speaking with Mayor William Hubbard and budget committee chairman Ran Reeves “over the weekend,” he told council. Mayor Hubbard and Reeves were both absent.
“With all of our downtown revitalization activities” the budget timeline got away from him, said Frere.
“We need to try to get this back on track, so I called the mayor Saturday and spoke with Ran,” he said.
