WHITE STONE—Unusual times call for inventive solutions.
The White Stone Town Council, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the call for “social distancing,” held a special meeting Thursday, March 19, outside in the Town Hall parking lot.
Council members sat six-feet apart and chairs were disinfected prior to the meeting. Agendas were not distributed but were emailed to each member for review the day of the meeting.
“I wanted to hold this meeting on the corner in front of the Rappahannock Rentals building,” said Mayor Randy Reeves. “Years ago, that’s where they’d hold the meetings, outdoors.”
